We all live on our own time and dreams, but some of us tend to stick to it and aimlessly change course whenever we come up with a new idea. But that’s easier said than done. When applying for a master’s degree program, you can’t apply in a field that is completely unrelated to your bachelor’s degree. Even worse, you can apply, but there’s no guarantee that you’ll be accepted. However, you can’t just apply to a master’s degree program in construction and hope for a good result. If you studied your entire bachelor’s degree to be a psychologist and suddenly realized that you want to be a mastermind. No! Training requires a proper foundation. You can build this foundation. Don’t worry. You can take some individual courses, join a preparatory master’s program that your future university may offer, or even attend a summer school or two. But you don’t have to jump in the pool. Just be able to swim!
Mistake: Applying to college for a master’s degree with the wrong bachelor’s degree
